sprinkler

with hot july days it seems only natural to bring out the sprinkler, you weren't too sure about this until gracie scooped you up and carried you through.

Walnut Grove

we travelled to Walnut Grove this past weekend to take in the pageant Fragment's of a Dream.
you of course have no idea who Laura Ingall's Wilder is, you will eventually but for this trip you just simply enjoyed the outdoors and all the new things to discover and explore. Aunt Linette and Uncle Kevin, Gracie, and Grandpa joined us as did Linda and Larry, Jay and Linda's dad. Eve and her mommy and daddy along with her aunt also joined in. It was a long busy day and I wondered how you would do with the actual play since it didn't begin until 9pm. you lasted about an hour and then we explored the grounds and concession stand and eventually hung out in the van waiting for the show to be done. You lasted a lot longer than I expected.

the weather that moved thru yesterday was filled with heavy rain, hail, sunshine,
sometimes it seemed all at once...at one point when the rain had calmed to a sprinkle the kids headed out to play in the rain and puddles, even reyna joined in, and yes she loved splashing in the puddles.

discovering that they were ready accessible in our yard...made her day.
now I catch her crawling in that direction all the time.
