and rocking those pigtails!
you are sitting now, for endless amounts of time.
you won't crawl forward but if a toy is out of reach you will roll onto your back and arch and kick your feet to move yourself towards the toy, then you flip back onto your tummy to see how close you are, make a few adjustments and then roll onto your back to scoot yourself closer until you finally can reach out and grab the toy, resourceful? yes you are.
you have a tooth!!!! your lower left tooth came in today.
each day spent with you is a gift, each moment is truly treasured.

i took these photos simply because I wanted to remember the toys that you loved playing with when you were 7 months old.
love watching you on the floor as you move from one toy to the next...the stacking tower lights up and plays a song you bounce along to the music. the book in the bottom picture crinkles when you grab it another favorite. The links were one of the first toys you played with we started with one link and as you become stronger in your grasping we continued to add links to build up your strength. the doll was a gift from Gracie, you love it and snuggle with it often.

you joined us in May, so tiny, so new.
in July you travelled across the country as we took some time off for a vacation.
